  • The 'Send to edTPA' button is the only button that syncs edTPA files with your edTPA account at Pearson. Submitting or sharing by any other button or method skips the connection to Pearson, thus preventing scoring by edTPA.
  • Pearson relies on an Authorization Key to identify the owner of files. Pearson associates files with the edTPA.com account that issued the Authorization Key. A correct key must be entered for a successful transfer from Watermark Student Learning & Licensure to edTPA.com.
  • Watermark is not permitted to send non-compliant or partial portfolios to Pearson. 'Send to edTPA' runs Pearson utilities to ensure edTPA compliance. 'Send to edTPA' requires your Authorization Key and a full set of files that adhere to the edTPA video compression guide and edTPA handbook.
  • Once received by edTPA.com, Watermark is not responsible the safekeeping and use of information in Pearson's custody. Candidates, faculty, and institutions are solely responsible to uphold agreements, conditions, and restrictions that edTPA obligates them to upload.

Our 'Send to edTPA' service is not the final step in your edTPA submission process. After sending this form, you must log into edTPA.com and complete the additional submission steps. At that point edTPA will confirm your portfolio for scoring.
